Anti Ragging

Raghu Institute of Technology is a Ragging Free Campus that has constituted an ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE following the directions issued by the GOVT, JNTU, Kakinada, and the recommendations of RAGHAVAN COMMITTEE. The committee ensures the campus RAGGING FREE campus. It implements a no-tolerance policy towards any issues related to ragging. The management of the college advertises and displays the details of the nature of ragging and the punishments against the activities on campus and at hostels. The management also invites top police personalities and other persons concern to create thorough awareness about ragging and its consequences among the students as part of its preventive steps.

The Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squads supervise and monitor the movements of the students on campus and outside the campus. It’s a great privilege to RIT, and it proudly announces that there is no trace of ragging incidents taking place on the campus or outside the campus so far.

The college timings are as follows: 8-40 a.m. to 3-20 p.m.

A certain number of lecture classes or practical work may be held outside the prescribed working hours whenever necessary.

Campus Security

Raghu Institute of Technology gives topmost priority to safety and security to its students, staff, and contents on campus and at hostels. It provides a 24/7 security facility. Well experienced and vigilant Security Guards are at all the gates and important points on the campus. The entire college campus and hostels are under the surveillance of CCTV Cameras.

The whole campus of RIT including the hostels is Wi-Fi empowered and students can get to the web on their workstations round the clock. RIT contains local area wireless technology that permits an electronic gadget to trade information or associate with the web utilizing 100 MBPS on the college campus and the hostel.

Health Care

A Health Care Centre has been established for the welfare of the students, staff on the campus. It successfully caters the medical needs of them. It provides all types of medical advice, clinical tests, and an inpatient facility with four beds. The center is monitored by regular clinicians during their appointed hours.
