The Department library serves as a central organ of academic activity in the Department. The Department has a rich & vast collection of more than 2000 books, periodicals and reports. It also has one copy each of all B.Tech.  projects, M.Tech dissertations carried out in the department in recent years. All these cater to the needs of students and faculty. Most of the books are of recent edition with the facility of issuing these for a specified time period. The library serves to provide a calm and cozy ambience conductive to long hours of study. The library opens on all working days of the Institute from 9 AM to 4:00 PM.

The department has adequate number of classrooms which are technologically enhanced to foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology and allowing the Professor to teach using a wide variety of media. The department classrooms are equipped with projectors, screens, computer system and internet connection to provide modern learning experience.

The Computer Lab provides quality service to the department community in computing facilities, learning, teaching, training, research, e-mailing, participating in technical events etc. It helps the researchers of the department to get their valuable data analyzed, extends Internet facilities in the department, enables access to World Wide Web and provides access to do programs of the laboratory facility to the students of various courses. The centre caters the needs of the students, faculty and other staff members of the Department.

The department has a digital library which provides access to various e-journals, video lectures and MOOCS courses content, soft copies of students’ projects to the students and faculties.

This lab provide students and faculties with innovative computing systems, laboratory facilities and equipment while offering high-level administrative support for faculty members seeking to conduct research and commercialize inventions.

The Department has student’s chapters like IETE Student Forum and IE Student Forum conducts many technical talks, seminars, quiz etc. Every semester at more than two guest lectures are being arranged in addition to above activities. Our students participating in national and state level technical competitions and there by winning many prizes showing their hidden talents.  IEEE student chapter encourage the Students to participate in State and National level technical contests.

The Department have memberships in Professional Societies like IEEE, Computer society and Signal Processing society Joint chapter and IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Chapter.
